"Concerted Thermal Compensation" (CTC) stands for special technical solution regarding the handling of big heats in our devices": There are two effects with CTC:
a. Optimum Ventilation
Nearly most of the devices "outside parts work as a heat-sink, in order to guarantee best ventilation for the devices temperature sensitive parts; With such a technical treatment it is achieved that the devices' power handling can be significantly increased without using additional big heat-sink elements; this we is apply especially with our tweeters ET 20 WS and CT 30 WS as well as the M-Line's cone-driver systems.
b. Optimum Temperature Balancing CTC also create perfect temperature balancing within the device; this means that all acoustically sensitive parts will be driven to same the temperature level. So there is kept a perfect temperature level of all parts resulting in an optimum of sound performance; this is especially applied to all of our GermanMAESTRO x-overs.
